[sex] boyfriend had sex with another guy

My boyfriend and I have been together 2 years. I just found out that 2 months into our relationship he cheated with his guy friend. I knew he was bisexual. I was looking through his messages cause he left to get something so while he was gone I looked through it. I found messages to his guy friend about how my boyfriend f*cked him and how they were both worried people were going to find out about it. The other guy isn't out. I saw where he said he was going to be committed to me after that and he did it just to see if he was ready to gave a long term relationship and he said it made him realize that. Anyway it shocked me, I didn't think he would cheat on me. I found out a few days ago. He doesn't know I know. Should I confront him or let it go?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
