I’m sex indifferent and romance repulsed aroace. If I think someone if romantically interested then yes I do feel quite uncomfortable, the idea of me dating anyone makes me feel gross and I guess someone telling me they think about me that way is an extension of that. If someone is interested in me sexually then I don’t really feel anything either way, except perhaps mildly guilty that I don’t feel anything back. That said, if I turn them down then that feels a bit awkward (but just in the same way as if you say no when someone offers you some food and you don’t want it, like you’re being ungrateful) and if I accept then I worry they’ll want something more (but that’s mostly me being romance repulsed).
