I’m a college student, and last week, a dude asked me out at the gym. He told me I was very attractive and wanted to get to know me better. We texted for a bit, and eventually, he asked me out on a date. I was clear about when I was free, which was only on Sunday that week. He said he was free the entire day on Sunday and that it would work out for him. He did not text me for a couple days before the date. The day of the date comes, and he texts me a couple hours prior and basically tells me he partied a bit too hard over the weekend and cancelled the date to do his homework. He did apologize and ask to reschedule, but I was not sure how to answer and sort of dodged the question. I feel a little put off because we did plan it ahead of the weekend time, but I don’t know if I’m being too uptight. He has been nice to me so far other than that. Any advice would be appreciated.
