I like how the votes are (kinda) in order of the ace flag too! Only missing grey but thats not in among us September 20, 2020 at 11:56PM

/u/Cleridwen on Please help. I can't figure out how to report the aphobic subreddit. I've tried every format I can think of and none are correct, and I can't find anything in the FAQ or any way to actually message reddit mods and ask how to properly report.

Can't we just stop giving them credibility and ignore them? September 20, 2020 at 11:55PM

/u/viciousvillains on So...uhh...I think I’m asexual?

hello, thank you ahaha >< September 20, 2020 at 11:55PM

/u/Ricotta_Colata on Get that aphobia outta here

The LGBT community isn't a club though, it's a place for people who face oppression to stick together. It is very rare that aces are discriminated against if at all, and thus they shouldn't take up resources that are for people who need them. That's why we have our own communities like the one on Reddit. September 20, 2020 at 11:54PM

Hello! First of all, thank you so much for typing all of this! You're right about me being the one to decide if I'm ace or not. I slept after I typed this whole reddit post and I woke up reading your reply, and I think it's clearer to me that I am ace. I though this is a new thing I found out about myself, but it's actually been a part of me since I was younger. And you're right about good and open communication with partners. I feel much more comfortable now I think. Thanks again! :D September 20, 2020 at 11:54PM

/u/ragtimeholly on Is there any reason why I should come out as ace?

sorry just wanna elaborate, this person literally has made disparaging comments all over the asexuality reddits - including telling an asexual to "get therapy" for their totally normal feelings. They've also been trolling some autism reddits and has used the "f-slur" (homophobic slur.) September 20, 2020 at 11:54PM

/u/scumbagkitten on If someone invites me over for "Netflix and Chill", I would just watch the movie😂 That‘s it.

Anything else would ruin the movie September 20, 2020 at 11:52PM

/u/k2thegarbagewilldo on Thought this kinda had ace vibes. Some people are just aesthetically pleasing, you know?

Right? I’ve been rewatching it over the course of the pandemic and while there are some jokes that didn’t age well, overall it’s still a great time. September 20, 2020 at 11:48PM

/u/TungstenWHIZard on How does fanservice make you feel?

1000000% agree on female fanservice. September 20, 2020 at 11:43PM

Yeah, its pretty abrasive - seems to be just one mod that's running it though I have to wonder, they keep talking about aces who gang up on other LGBTQ people and cause problems, but where is all this going down? Is there a subreddit I'm missing somewhere? September 20, 2020 at 11:43PM

/u/ellis_isnt_a_story on Alas I have finally done an asexual one :)

ooo, sounds fun September 20, 2020 at 11:43PM

/u/sadenglishlearner on I'm so lonely

It doesn't exactly make me feel better that I'm not alone in this. But I'm sorry you know that feeling too. I can't imagine life within next few months let alone years. Nothing interests me, no reason to be alive at all. That's a good way of doing it though, taking one day/hour at a time even if it's so scary September 20, 2020 at 11:42PM

In that scenario you legally have to say "Of course, animal crossing always takes priority." September 20, 2020 at 11:40PM

/u/2pnt0 on Wondering how you guys would respond.

Flattering if it's a partner. Everyone else carries a big ol' supersized sack of NOPE. September 20, 2020 at 11:40PM

/u/ragtimeholly on How do I get rid of my sex drive.

you're not asexual but you're literally telling an asexual person to get therapy because they feel libido? btw MOST asexuals still feel libido. Some of them (i.e. the person who posted this) wish they didn't and deserve a safe space to rant and ask advice. Asexuality means we don't feel sexual attraction . Here's actual info on it , if you're "interested in the topic." And otherwise please don't invalidate asexuals on an asexual subreddit kbye. September 20, 2020 at 11:39PM

me: Cool... Anyway, want to come to my island after you get cleaned up? my partner: Were you thinking about Animal Crossing the whole time? 🙄 September 20, 2020 at 11:39PM

My friend in Florida posted this photo, and had a nice guy pop up in her comments.

I gotta hear this...

Daughter calls this morning and tells me to watch the grandkids for a few hours while she visits a friend. My husband, her stepfather, tells me to say no. My soft maternal side says yes. Daughter brings the kids, husband leaves angry. I tell daughter, be home by 6 please. Well, its almost 8 and she's still not home. Husband gets home from work, and yells at me for agreeing to watch the kids, says I did this, unpurpose, to HIM! Jumps on his motorcycle and leaves. So how I am supposed to feel? And what should I do? Submitted September 20, 2020 at 11:45PM Daughter calls this morning and tells me to watch the grandkids for a few hours while she visits a friend.
