In short, GF and I broke up. Relationship was loving and healthy, and we got along great. I met a guy through my parents, i was interested in him at first, but over the time i did lose interest. now i am younger than him by a couple of years, i feel like i deserve someone better, i also know (gut feeling) that i won't end up with him. i want to date someone with whom i see a potential long term relationship. and that's just not him. He asked me if A relationship could work between us. and idk what to say. I have not spoken to him in months. i thought my absence would make it clear that i wasn't interested. i had mentioned that i am busy with work, and won't have time. and this whole time everything was just friendly. no talks of anything serious. we just discussed the possibility of us being together, but we aren't in the same state. so what's the best way of saying yes i want a relationship but not with you. PS. our interests are quite similar and we want the same/similar things in life so i can't use either of those to say no. Submitted
