/u/SuspensionBomb_40 on My Grandma doesn’t get it

at least she didn't bash you for it, she probably just doesn't understand since she's never experienced having no sexual attraction. I know when I told my mum she had the idea I was going through a phase and probably still does, it kinda sucks to be dismissed but it is what it is. at the end of the day it's not a big deal unless they start treating you worse because of it. is it a date or we’re just hanging out?

so i (f21) work with this guy m(22). We’re acquaintances/kinda friends but we’d never hung out before. He started sharing a lot of music with me and we talked about movies and we had a lot in common. He randomly messaged me asking if I wanted to come over and watch a movie. I normally don’t go to peoples homes if we’ve never hung out before but i went anyways. I get there and he had bought me a drink and rolled us a blunt. So we start the movie and we’re sitting CLOSE like thighs to thighs arms to arms. We watched the movie and then he suggested we play a board game. It was some kind of war strategy game so he pretty much let me win. Then we went and got some food, ate, and he paid but then asked “are you bisexual?” I replied “yeah why? did you think I was gay?” And apparently he did think I was gay. After that we went back to my car and I went home. He messaged me thanking me for coming. Any thoughts on this? Was this just a hang out///am I wrong for thinking he’s into me? Submi...

Thoughts on the phrase "So tell me about yourself"?

So several guys I've been talking to have all pulled this phrase out and... I absolutely hate it. For reference I'm 30F and I meet guys who are either a couple of years younger than me, my age, or approximately up to 5 years older. I feel like it's a lazy way to get someone to open up and the lack of effort just turns me off, especially when my dating profile is full of things to talk about. Does anyone else feel the same way? /u/meridiacreative on I'm so disappointed

Fate/Stay-night, at least the original game. Though it's not a euphemism. It's the literal way they transfer mana from person to person. In the first anime, they changed it to being skin contact to transfer mana, and dropped it entirely in later entries in the franchise. It wouldn't surprise me if other media uses it in a more euphemistic way, but in Fate it's definitely just how things are done in that universe and is largely incidental, since they were able to remove those two scenes when they released the anime. I don’t know what to do?

I met this guy online and he asked me on a date awhile back. I met him when I was visiting. I’m moving back to his area next week. And I touched base saying this “ Hey! I’m getting in town next week, want to get drinks?” We talk through bumble.. should I touch base again once I’m actually back next week? What should I say? My biggest thing is coming off as desperate.. Submitted March 12, 2022 at 12:14AM I met this guy online and he asked me on a date awhile back. I met him when I was visiting.
