i (21f) have never dated or been kissed and i'm insecure about starting dating

I will be entering my senior year of college in the fall. I just came back from study abroad and I'll be away from my college for the summer, so I figured that my senior fall would be a good time to start dating and to actually follow through with dates from dating apps. The ideal scenarios for me would be having a couple dates with someone so I can tell if they'll be respectful about me being a virgin before anything. I don't feel like I can talk to anyone about this situation I'm in because most of my friends are much more experienced and it's something I'm insecure about. I would love to hear tips from anyone who has gotten through something similar & tips to start dating people you meet ~irl~ in college since honestly this will probably be less scary for me than people from dating apps. When to give up on an online relationship?

I met a woman online that's in a different country and we really hit it off. So much in common and have similar goals in life so for the first time, I actually see a future with someone. The problem of course is actually being with her. She's a chef but we're finding it hard to get a sponsored job here in the U.S so we tried a different approach and getting her into culinary school in Canada. Canada gives work visas while under a student visa unlike the U.S so she'll be able to support herself. She didn't want to do a marriage visa because she can't stand the thought of not working for months while having to watch me pay for everything. Also because she wants us to have a traditional wedding in her country. She also don't want to wait the 18 months it'll take to process the K-1 Visa. For the last 5 months, I busted my butt off to look for affordable schools, scholarships, and housing for her but the issue is the money. She can't get loans in her c
