When to give up on an online relationship?
I met a woman online that's in a different country and we really hit it off. So much in common and have similar goals in life so for the first time, I actually see a future with someone. The problem of course is actually being with her. She's a chef but we're finding it hard to get a sponsored job here in the U.S so we tried a different approach and getting her into culinary school in Canada. Canada gives work visas while under a student visa unlike the U.S so she'll be able to support herself.
She didn't want to do a marriage visa because she can't stand the thought of not working for months while having to watch me pay for everything. Also because she wants us to have a traditional wedding in her country. She also don't want to wait the 18 months it'll take to process the K-1 Visa.
For the last 5 months, I busted my butt off to look for affordable schools, scholarships, and housing for her but the issue is the money. She can't get loans in her country and I can't afford to pay for her school. At this point, I'm tired, stressed, and ready to give up but I feel like it be a terrible mistake if I do. She's incredibly genuine with me and pushes me to be the best person I can be but I'm tired.
