/u/MrSquiggleKey on Next time someone says "the A is for ally", show them that Lego has the right idea

A decade ago when I didn’t know about Asexuality and thought I was bisexual because there was no difference between the genders for me (aka zero) I thought the A stood for Ally. June 13, 2022 at 12:05AM

I’m confused and need help

There is a girl I am interested in. About 2 weeks ago I was at her place and we were just watching some Netflix and she started cuddling with me. We texted and tried to setup sometime to hangout but it never worked out. As of a couple days ago she stopped texting so I assumed she wasn’t interested. We ended up going out with other friends and on the drive back she rested her head on me and got pretty close to me. This has left me confused because of the lack of communication from her. I am wondering if it would be weird to ask the friend I met her through, in a sense, what is actually going on. I don’t want to get led on but this girl also seems like someone I would like to be around. I’m really wondering if asking the friend would be weird or not. And if it isn’t does it matter whether it’s a text or in person. Submitted June 13, 2022 at 12:05AM There is a girl I am interested in. How to meet single women when you’ve reach your professional career?

All the women I’ve dated I met through college/mutual friends. I’m at the point in my life where I don’t meet new single people. Dating apps are a bust, haven’t had any luck with them. All my matches are fakes, prostitutes, or I’m not physically attracted to. I would rate myself 5/10: Asian, 5’ 6”, 150 lbs, make over 6 figures, and have an athletic/muscular physique. Keeping a new LDR interesting?

I (18M) met a girl (18F) through a mutual friend back in college a couple of months ago. During that time, we went out together because we had overlapping friend groups, and after talking, found that we have a ton in common. Before we left for the summer (i.e., about a month ago), she reached out to me over Instagram and gave me her number. Since then, we have been texting back and forth multiple times daily, and things have been going well; however, we live 5 hours from each other. I visited her a couple of weeks ago for a “hangout sesh” (not an official date, though it certainly felt like one) because I was close to her hometown by chance. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time or money to see her every weekend, and our texts are getting somewhat dry. It’s getting to the point where we’re constantly asking each other, “how was your day” to hold onto the convo (not that it’s a bad thing, it just seems like things are drying up a bit). I should also mention that we have yet to FaceTime....

Okay so a coworker (M22) and I (F22) make eye contact every single day we work together and all time.

We’ve never talked and we work in different departments of a store. But I can’t help but feel something. I don’t know if I’m in over my head. I thought it was just me being bored but over time I felt like he was noticing me and even looking for me discretely. He has winked and smiled at me a few times. Eye contact is something I’m guessing can meaning something but I’m never sure. I don’t know if this means anything and I’m waaaaay to shy to do anything about it. Thoughts?
