I told my crush that I like her and she said that’s cool

So I (16m) asked my friend to talk to her (16f) about it so I could know without embarrassing myself we’ve been friends for a while and he told her that I like her and her response was oh that’s a little bit random when did that start he said it started a few months ago she said, “oh he’s had a crush on me for a few months” then she said, “oh that wasn’t expected but that’s cool.” what does that mean? Ah, what a complicated subject. The way I understand it, there have even been official studies into this - studies which as I recall, proved there's only maybe less than 50% accuracy in humans' ability to guess or discern whether someone is flirting with them or even with one of their friends. So, yeah. Sometimes it's just a bunch of guessing. May 11, 2023 at 12:13AM

...Yes, it does. Pretending otherwise requires you to pretend all sexual activity has risk of pregnancy and to pretend that everyone has the same perception of that activity. Different people perceive the same activity different ways. Take any activity, and some people enjoy it, some don't, and some are indifferent about it, etc. Why do you immediately assume risk of pregnancy is the only risk factor to be considered here? Pregnancy is the least risky part of this action and the one with the most responses and least stigma attached. As for how someone "FEELS" about it is just one factor in risk assessment of a situation. Just because you may enjoy an activity does not mean you will engage in it without doing a risk assessment first. Take skydiving for example, no matter how much you may enjoy it you will always stop and check that conditions are acceptable before partaking in this activity BECAUSE you know how serious the risk is. And I am NOT conflating orientatio

I F22 ended a relationship of 3years (ex 26M) and I need some advice

So as the title says i broke up with my ex because he cheated on me multiple times and I didn't want to make the slightest sacrifices to make the relationship continue so we ended it. And as I'm back to dating and knowing new men i noticed that I'm doing the same mistakes I did with my ex (give the new person attention and love easily, focusing on giving and ignoring receiving, not knowing how to communicate my needs due to the fear of looking needy and paranoid as my ex used to tell me) I don't know how to behave I don't want to end up in an other toxic relationship. TLDR; I need some advice on how to avoid toxic relationships Submitted May 11, 2023 at 12:15AM So as the title says i broke up with my ex because he cheated on me multiple times and I didn't want to make the slightest sacrifices to make the relationship continue so we ended it.And as I'm back to dating and knowing new men i noticed that I'm doing the same mistakes I did with my ex (g
