Honestly with me similar things happen when it comes to people thinking I wanna hook up. And for me the only time I have sex is with my fiance because I love him and while I don’t need sex, it's nice and stuff. But people seem to think me being nice to them means I want to have sex with them May 30, 2021 at 11:57PM

/u/qionne on How do you fellow ace people view sex?

personally, i don’t mind sex. i see it as an intimate activity you can do with someone, but i also see cuddling, holding hands, talking, video games, and all kinds of things as intimate activities. to me, it’s all about the feelings you have for the person, and the intentions of the interaction. Thanks for taking the time to read and reply. It feels good to have thrown it out there, and means a lot to know that someone kinda gets how I’m feeling. Thanks for the advice too. May 30, 2021 at 11:55PM

Yes, I've always wondered about this! I think I'm just really a fan of Aesthetic beauty and for me that is Art, humans can be beautiful too, I am aware but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and for me I prefer fictional characters. May 30, 2021 at 11:52PM

Once upon a time, in a different dimension, I liked it, 2 bf's I had (at different times) but outside of those 2, I've had sex more times than I could count when I just wanted the person to like me or to not be upset. Because I'm the female and its my 'duty' to keep my guy happy. It was expected. I'm older, and wiser, and now it grosses me out. I can't imagine going there ever again. Yuk. May 30, 2021 at 11:48PM

To me, someone who is very sex repulsed, it’s just a HUGE invasion of privacy. I don’t understand it at all, and the thought of anyone having it is very uncomfortable and disgusting. May 30, 2021 at 11:44PM

/u/therealmrsfahrenheit on Idk, jealous of non-ace people?

arghh I feel that so bad.... I sometimes just want to be and feel like everyone else .. just go out dating without worrying If the person I’m seeing will eventually expect more from me than I’ll be able to give them, to just flirt with others and fall in love without worrying about their feelings and what it’ll do to them, to dream about my beautiful dream wedding and what dress I might be wearing one day, to dream about being loved by someone in a different way than just friendship or like your parents love you, to dream about cuddling with someone on a cold winter‘s day 😍🥰 that would be so beautiful.. but sadly I’m most likely never going to have any of that and that’s just devastating 😭 May 30, 2021 at 11:43PM

/u/Superpickle18 on Ace representation in Blue’s Clues!

should not have to think about these kinds of things. Children shouldn't be aware family structures aren't always just a "mommy" and a "daddy"? May 30, 2021 at 11:31PM

/u/_dancingwiththedevil on How do you fellow ace people view sex?

I see it as something that only occurs in movies and get flabbergasted that people actually do it in real life. Nothing wrong with people that enjoy it, I just rather not be seen in a sexual way or wish to not be seen naked or seductive or something. Idk, I could never see myself being the seductive type. /u/therealmrsfahrenheit on Sure, sex is okay but have you

even better : you come out of the shower and then snuggle into your warm bed with FRESH sheets and while slowly drifting into your dream world you smell the scent of the washing powder and feel so protected under your warm blanket like nothing can ever happen to you and like *everything in the world is perfect 🥰😴 May 30, 2021 at 11:25PM

/u/AndroidwithAnxiety on The best way I've found to explain what asexuality is like

The way I think of it is 'You see a beautiful painting. You think it's stunning... would you want to have sex with that painting?' This is more of a description for the difference between aesthetic and sexual attraction, and it doesn't cover the romantic aspect of things, but I think it fits alright for a general description. People are paintings. May 30, 2021 at 11:20PM

/u/onlinekitten on How do i change to an asexual , well basically i am straight

Asexuals still experience arousal and feel “horny”. May 30, 2021 at 11:19PM

/u/vroni147 on Jubille released a video on: Do All Asexuals Think the Same? | Spectrum

Well, then you're grey-ace or maybe ace-spike or ace-jump. Asexuality as a spectrum is the lack of sexual attraction. That's the whole definition. If you have sex every day, you're still ace ("It's the attraction, not the act). Not wanting to act on sexual attraction isn't asexuality, it's your preference on how to deal with sexual attraction. A celibate person also experiences sexual attraction but doesn't act in it, that doesn't make them asexual. You're valid nevertheless. May 30, 2021 at 11:18PM
