/u/Maeve_Alonse on Is this sexual attraction?

Physical intimacy and sexual intimacy are two distinctly different things. What you described is a natural thing, wanting intimate physical contact. But not wanting to progress past that is also natural, and totally okay. It sounds to me that this is a problem only you can really find the answer for, but I suggest taking it slow, and experimenting with physical intimacy first, to see how you feel afterwards. /u/poeticchaotica on Is this sexual attraction?

I get the same feeling sometimes, and personally I would say no bc I don't really consider kissing sexual and also, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm sexually attracted to them. Sometimes I just think like "fuck, I really wanna kiss this person bc I love them so much!" and it's just another form of romantic intimacy to me. Could just be me tho, everyone's different. /u/Maeve_Alonse on So. Apparently asexuals shouldn't feel love?

That's just it. It shouldn't even be considered "more complicated." Why the fuck is it any business of anybody else that you are not interested in sex? Like, people threw a fit about homosexuals and bisexuals not being recognized, simply because they are attracted to other genders others didn't consider. But the thought that someone has no interest in any gender is apparently harder to grasp?? November 13, 2020 at 11:55PM

/u/That-Unpaid-Intern on Why did you decide to “come out?”

She's been amazing! I never expected my parents to not be accepting, but I didn't expect her to be so involved and even interested. We've never been closer :) November 13, 2020 at 11:55PM

/u/Ba1d3r on Can a person be asexual and still like reading smut?

At worst it's some deep unconscious need, but the story line is usually totally messed up, so I get why for the giggles, Edit: sorry for the Freudian joke November 13, 2020 at 11:55PM

/u/Bennyboi456 on You gotta love how these types of apps don't think of asexuals.

Where did you find your partner? November 13, 2020 at 11:53PM

/u/poeticchaotica on Can a person be asexual and still like reading smut?

Yeah, of course. Being ace literally just mean you don't feel sexual attraction, it doesn't dictate what you can or can't do. November 13, 2020 at 11:52PM
