I struggle with feelings of inferiority too and it sucks, sucks, sucks. I haven’t been harangued about relationships but about other appearances. For me, I feel a lot less doomer-y when I focus on resenting the expectation rather than the dread/anxiety of not meeting it. That way you don’t get sucked into an anxiety spiral—just righteous anger, which in my opinion is more healthy 😅.
