any tips for first date?

(M24) I've never been on a real date before and I finally asked someone out and we are getting together on friday. I have no idea as to where to go, how to behave appropriately, and any tips would be appreciated! /u/secretaccount542 on Is this sexual attraction?

This is the first time I have ever been "turned on" and it was very brief, so I don't really have any previous experiences to compare this to. I don't think I have sexual attraction towards fantasy/fictional content, and I was thinking about reading more romance books to test that out. However, I will say that after reading some sex scenes from books I've thought about/imagined having sex with my ex a lot more and he's the only one I can comfortably imagine having sex with if you get what I mean March 13, 2022 at 12:21AM

/u/raven_of_azarath on I hate the Happy Feet movies so much. They are so overly sexualized! Why does a children's movie about penguins have to be like that?!

I watched Happy Feet on my prom night my senior year with my “date” (gay friend). I was a dancer, so we spent the whole movie discussing the dance aspect of it and how well they animated the feet to match the sounds. March 13, 2022 at 12:19AM

Want to talk to her

(26m) and I’ve been talking to this girl for a month. I’ve been out of the scene for 7 years- really bad previous relationship. Idk I’ve been on two dates and I think I’m crushing hard. On the last date she (21f) kissed me. Usually we text, while it’s pretty surface level, it’s been a daily thing -kind of like checking in “how’s your day.” I’ve made a lot of headway I think and yesterday we had a spontaneous good conversation over text. I was the last message. I think I’m crushing hard cause I want to text her so badly. The issue is I feel like I’m always initiating and it’s her time of the month and I’m at a loss on how to proceed. TLDR: crushing hard, daily texting, I’m always imitating, no text back, what do. Submitted March 13, 2022 at 12:09AM (26m) and I’ve been talking to this girl for a month. Girls, does it matter how Someone asks you out if you already like them?

I see this posted here a lot and I always say the same thing. To just be direct. Asking a girl out isn’t like an RPG. Where theres only one dialogue option to get the desired result. If the girl likes you then she will say yes to any way you decide to ask her, unless you are creepy or a dick about it. If she says no, then it doesn’t matter how you would’ve asked because she didn’t like you in the first place and asking differently wouldn’t have changed that. Unless you asked like a creep or a dick then that’s why they said no and odds are they don’t like you anymore. This has worked well enough for me. But I’m curious to how girls feel about this? Am I right? I know everyone’s different. Also Given the subject matter, I think you guys are the experts in how you want to be asked out. /u/Prof-Rock on Advice needed to help my wonderful daughter.

She has always wanted lots of kids, so I know this. I did make the mistake of thinking she didn't want to get married, and now I know better. She told me she did. I also hate people who try to force everyone to have kids. Not having kids is a totally legitimate life choice. March 12, 2022 at 11:23PM
