Girls, does it matter how Someone asks you out if you already like them?

I see this posted here a lot and I always say the same thing. To just be direct. Asking a girl out isn’t like an RPG. Where theres only one dialogue option to get the desired result. If the girl likes you then she will say yes to any way you decide to ask her, unless you are creepy or a dick about it. If she says no, then it doesn’t matter how you would’ve asked because she didn’t like you in the first place and asking differently wouldn’t have changed that. Unless you asked like a creep or a dick then that’s why they said no and odds are they don’t like you anymore. This has worked well enough for me. But I’m curious to how girls feel about this? Am I right? I know everyone’s different. Also Given the subject matter, I think you guys are the experts in how you want to be asked out.
