I (28f) met this guy 3 months ago through a mutual friend. I liked him and he seemed to have liked me, too. A month later I started texting him about general stuff, but since it was very smooth, I cut to the chase and asked him about a meeting. He enthusiastically agreed and the tone of the conversation immediately switched to more personal. We met, it was very nice, even romantic at times, although we didn't kiss or anything. A week passes, we text everyday, but no further plans are made, so I ask him again for a meeting, this time with a plan to state my intensions clearly. But seeing him very infatuated with me I got cold feet and decided to leave things at that. Another two weeks passed since then and he still didn't ask me to meet in person. In the meantime, however, the mutual friend went out with him and was unequivocally told, that likes me indeed, since the first time even. What do I make of it? Supposing he has serious intentions, I really dread the pace we move at

I’m 21m and also in college. There’s a particular girl I’m cool with buh she gives me this weird vibe. We don’t have the best convos in person and on phone but every time she meets me she hugs me and look straight into my eyes with a smile and starts a convo. Also she comes to me whenever she sees me and likes being around me but actually I don’t do much when she’s around me like I’m barely even trying. I am overweight. And I am trying to lose weight, but food addiction is something I struggle with. Nevertheless, I truly think I am pretty (my parents and older folks in church been calling me beautiful since i was young). My therapist said i look nice too...but men never approach me at any places I go to... What can I do aside from losing weight to get professional men to approach me at events and open venues like wineries? Submitted May 21, 2023 at 12:01AM I am overweight. I have had a couple girlfriends in the past and they have more fell in my lap than me actually getting them so I have no real experience in the chase. I have tried things like tinder to no real success and that is not really how I’d like to meet girls anyways. I guess I am just looking for a relationship instead of just lucking into one.
