Out of curiosity have you looked into the differences between, the different attraction types? Some people (myself included) related aesthetic attraction with sexual attraction. If you don't have something it is hard to know exactly what your are missing and may mis attrubute aesthetic attraction. For me I can appreciate someone is good looking. For example I enjoy seeing Chris Hemsworth in movies and so did my sister in law. I couldn't understand why my brother was jealous of the fact she thought he was hot and so I asked him if he would be that upset over her enjoying a painting... my brother was frustrated by my comparison and replied "it's different, you know that"..... but i didn't know that, for me it was EXACTLY the same feeling. I’d say most of my sexual encounters were because I was horny and moderately attracted to the person. It was mainly for nothing tho since I never really got any satisfaction out of it... I haven’t done it with someone I was romantically attracted to yet (because I find it really hard to find people that I like in that way), so I’m still waiting on that to see if maybe I need a connection towards someone for me to actually enjoy it. Yes, I agree! I’m still exploring when it comes to sex and doing what I think I like. The only reason I seek sexual engagement with others is simply to find out if there is a factor that allows me to enjoy it. It’s a little tiresome in some ways to constantly try to find something and not being able to, but if I do find something I’m into I assume it’ll be well worth it. Thanks for your reply! Now I'm not an expert on sex (obviously, I'm ace haha)... But since you do experience sexual attraction and want to engage in sexual acts, you wouldn't be asexual. I wouldn't call you sex-repulsed either since there seems to be no actual repulsion, just indifference. So this is all just hypothetical but maybe you just need different factors to enjoy sex. Maybe it's a special kind of kink you have, another kind of stimulation, lots of foreplay to get you into it or simply just having feelings for a partner. Or it's something unrelated like mental health, stress or body issues that keep you distracted. This might be something you have to find out for yourself if you want to explore it. So tomorrow my wife of 9 years is having a major knee operation tomorrow. She is having the top of her shin bone shaved down and then having the bottom part of her knee reattached to it. She hurt it a few years slipping in some ice. After years of cortisone shots and PT her Ortho decided enough was enough and asked her to let him fix it for good. She's incredibly nervous about it because she's never had surgery before. She's nervous that it's gonna be too much on me to have to run the household and manage the extra work taking care of our kiddos ( 8, 7 and 4 ). The title pretty much sums it up. I stopped practicing Islam and am an atheist now. I am in the process of de-hijabing. I don't wear it when I go out for groceries or something like that. However, I am still wearing it at work (for now until I can muster up the courage to deal with questions, etc.). All my OLD pics are in hijab and I don't really have any non-hijab pics . Well, I have selfies after I take my runs but I'm not posting those on OLD apps. This will likely not be a super quick process. Should I change my religion on OLD apps.
