Agreed on both those facts (cake is good too :3) Remember some things like what your attractions are can be a 'slow click'. You may dismiss it in the start only to slowly realize that it might be the case. At least that's what happened to me haha (took me 2 years). Also my parents haven't even wondered as well. I feel you! You should look into QPR(Queer platonic relationships) or try to find people who identify as the same labels as you. Of course you can find what you want in any kind of partner but typically this is easier to do as you don't really need to worry about differences in expectation. Idk how to find these people tho lol I'm confused myself.
