So asexual is both a specific group and the broad spectrum term. So as a grey-ace or aego you can definitely use the term. Sort of how you could describe yourself as French or European and both would be accurate. One just gives more context about you specifically. If you feel like using the broad term when explaining it to someone so you don't have to get into the nuance of identity that is perfectly fine. It very much isn't...but I've had allo friends who also say sex is gross and genitals are ugly. It is understandable that you feel anxious when you are put on the spot, or if you struggle with intrusive thoughts. If you feel you are panicking, you could try to practice using grounding exersizes ( https://www.therapistaid.com/worksheets/grounding-techniques.pdf has some examples). I found the 5-4-3-2-1 technique helpful, personally. I know that it can feel like queer people have to constantly be vigilant about their own identities, but there's nothing wrong with continuing to explore your own identity. It's not a bad thing if you enjoyed the kiss, it doesn't make you a worse asexual. It wouldn't even be a bad thing if you someday discovered that you experience attraction-- learning more about yourself is not a bad thing. It sounds like your friend is very important and close to you, and he might be a valuable source of support. Maybe try talking with him about how the kiss made you feel, if you feel comfortable with that. There's also nothing wrong with ask

Well, Asexuality is the lack of SEXUAL ATTRACTION or feeling little sexual attraction, not disliking sex. Basically, another analysis of it can be that, hey, maybe you like pasta! Maybe it doesn’t look appetizing to you, or you’re just indifferent to it’s appearance. Just because you don’t think it’s appearance looks delicious doesn’t mean you think it tastes horrible! Maybe you absolutely ADORE the flavour of pasta! :) In this metaphor, the pasta represents sex or sexual attraction, and it’s appearance represents how sex feels essentially! There's nothing wrong with just using asexual as your main label instead of a microlabel. It will not harm anyone, and if you find that useful, go ahead. Especially if you're ever in a situation where you're talking to someone who is not well informed about queer issues-- where something that's easy to explain might become much more useful than the most precise label for your sexuality.
