Fairly new to dating (22f) and went on a date with a 27m and I think we both had a great time. Are there signs that the other person is in to you too?

We met on a dating app and he picked me up and dropped me off. We went to an arcade and had dinner first. He gave me a hug initially when we met and I felt like we were both comfortable conversing. I insisted to pay the bill for dinner and I liked that he didn’t make it a big deal or felt “emasculated”. He made a playlist for the drive as well. I’ve never really dated men before and it feels different when I am used to dating women. He gave me a tighter hug at the end of the night and told me he had a great time etc. I feel a bit insecure about my younger age and if he will feel weird about that or assume that it’s too big of an age difference esp when I haven’t really dated anyone seriously before. I guess I just don’t wanna mess this up or anything. I’ve been on dates w a few guys before and I never felt this before where I was interested in them and felt chemistry. He doesn’t know I haven’t had much experience with dating, but I am assuming the hug was just out of respect and tak

[36M][31F] how to ask out a girl

Hey everyone! So I was wondering if there's a best statement when asking out a girl.. These are some examples: 1. Hey, so I wanted to ask you out for dinner/drinks.. how does your week look like? 2. Hey, you wanna grab some dinner/drinks sometime with me? 3. Let's go out! I thought 1 comes off as a bit needy, 2 is better and 3 is just informal, doesn't imply a date at all.. A little background: I met this girl at an arts festival 2 days ago.. I was watching a performance, we saw some exhibits together and went out for a long dinner. We had a nice time definitely.. Then we exchanged numbers and we've only had about one day of chatting between us since then. Submitted February 12, 2023 at 01:09AM Hey everyone! /u/Acetamnophen on Pride?

Pride comes from standing against discrimination, misunderstanding, disgust, and invalidation, which applies to any minority group. It's because you're comfortable and happy with who you are, and you live in a world where who you are is seen as broken, mentally ill, in need of treatment or fixing, or just lesser. You can see the same dynamic at play even for things that don't involve gender of sexuality. If you're not the majority, most people either hide (go in the closet) or they double down on it because they like themselves despite their differences. Asexuality is about lack of sexual attraction, not whether or not you have sex or date. So aces have unique experiences and a different view on the world than most people. For instance, calling someone "sexy" means "I want to have sex with that person" for most people, but asexuals frequently believe that that word only refers to an aesthetic, like "goth", and don't realize the commo

/u/jeinnyallover on I am still a closeted Ace IRL, so I hid an ace flag underneath my headboard so it can only be seen if I am laying down on my bed.

Hahahah tiring isn’t it. Sad thing is, I believed them for awhile when I wasn’t educated on what aces are. And because I know no one around me who is ace, I tend to feel invalidated and tried to “fix” myself over and over again. February 12, 2023 at 12:04AM

financial over mental

So my partner and I have been having a disagreement over this issue for a couple of days now... I just want to know if there is anything I can do to reconcile with her and fix our relationship. Long story short, I left a job that I hated, but it paid 20$/hour for a job that I love and wake up excited to go to, but it only pays 15$/hour.. I'm happy and love my new job and I can't go back to the old one, it was killing me mentally and emotionally.. I was losing out on days with her and her kids.. this one I have the opportunity to spend full nights with her, I can take my weekends and go stay with her. The old job was just a big stress but it came with a lot of benefits.. am I dating a gold digger or am I reading into this whole ordeal wrong? The girl I am romantically interested might like me back, but shes in a really toxic friends with benefits type relationship. How can i help her out of a toxic relationship and into a healthy one, even if sadly that relationship is not with me
