I totally understand what you mean - there's a lot of defensive movements - from biphobic lesbians to lesbians who insist you must be a 'gold star' lesbian - so it's hard to feel like you're really allowed to call yourself one. But at the end of the day, if the label doesn't bring you comfort, there's no need to push it on yourself. It's funny though, every time I have a crush on a fictional male character (hello Adam Jensen) I realize that a lot of what makes me attracted to them is things that society specifically tries to make young boys push down, like openly caring about things lol. ​ You are valid though, and if you relate to that doc as much as I did, you should feel okay calling yourself a lesbian. maybe it is, but sometimes the desire to have sex is purely motivated by physical lust, and sometimes there is a mental pull that you want to satisfy with sex, and you can find someone sexually attractive without having a pull to engage in sex, so I was trying to explain that there’s a difference between simply wanting to have sex due to lust without mental attraction, and mental attraction without physical attraction but maybe I’m confusing aesthetic attraction for sexual attraction - desire to actually engage in sex June 09, 2020 at 11:20PM

So I watched 90 day fiancé and I saw a lot of these people got scammed online but they are stilll in denial (like David and Lana or Caesar). I would say its pretty easy for me getting the date but I think since my personality is unique and I’m pretty picky, I’m never the type who gets another relationship right after I broke up which I think is healthy. I also came from different countries and I have moved around so I’m kinda culturally mixed myself since I adopted some of these cultures from the countries I’ve lived in and they can be very different. A lot of times, I couldn’t connect with men since I can be too diverse for him. Some are also scared of my career etc. But I have a strong desire to have a partner and I’m worried that I look like I’m desperate when going on dates. I never pressure anyone to be in a relationship w me but then regarding sex, I always try to hold off until someone is fully committed to me and some people just left right after I told them that I’m holding
