20 years here, honestly it all just seems completely detached from who I am. As a writer I constantly write characters in relationships and get (a bit too) attached but whenever I think of myself in a relationship it just feels... Disconnected. It doesn't feel surreal or strange or anything, it's just such a foreign thing to who I am that every time I imagine it, it might as well just be two people I don't know and have never met acting really lovey with each other. I can relate. I'm a guy who finds the male body aesthetically attractive and I masturbate thinking about it. As a teenager, this made me think I was possibly gay, and that was really scary at the time.
