My entire sexuality was intrusive. I went to an all male catholic high school. Being unaware that I was Ace, I internalized a whole toxic straight guy thing. Thank you for bringing this up! I definitely think there’s confusion about what “sex positive” means in other spaces. I first learned about sex positivity from feminist speakers and I would describe myself as sex positive. A sex averse, sex positive asexual. I actually described myself as sex positive in a post and ever since I’ve wondered if that was ever taken to mean something else. I love how the queer community took back that label. Fantastic. The problem with having "left out" communities represented is that there is always going to be another community left out. It's impossible to represent them all in a list format, especially when our understanding keeps changing. I mean, with that being said, they are using a bloody list format, and therefore they are choosing to leave people out.
