Fucking hell mate bit aggressive. I do understand where you’re coming from tbf, but you don’t need to be so harsh with it. January 15, 2021 at 12:01AM

/u/WokeEdgelord on GSRM vs LGBT

In terms of what I use in everyday speech that'd be LGBTQ / LGBTQIA+ given that that's the term most people are familiar with. I would definitely rather be using GSRM though, because it's all encompassing and more inclusive than LGBTQ, which can necessitate adding more letters and making the abbreviation quite long. /u/Azrael_042 on is anyone else attracted to the way someone’s body moves despite being asexual?

What exactly is aesthetic attraction? I didn't see anything in the faq January 15, 2021 at 12:01AM

/u/KaiBri707 on Has anyone else never even questioned their sexuality?

Me finding out/accepting my sexuality goes as following: Friend: * is telling me about how another friend came out as bi and she is LGBTQ+ too * Me: I support you obviously her: obviously Me: idk what my sexuality is her: Asexual? Me: possibly, probably I've questioned whether I'm grey-a or completely ace but not really ever if I'm allo. I for a short amount of time thought I might have been attracted to guys before I realised I was ace but not really. I actually accepted I was ace before I probably should have as I later realised that I was not at an age that I would have had those feelings lol but I was right anyway. January 15, 2021 at 12:00AM

/u/Azrael_042 on is anyone else attracted to the way someone’s body moves despite being asexual?

Even if it weren't libido, they'd still be Grey ace. But I think that you're correct January 15, 2021 at 12:00AM

I'm sure this'll mean a lot to your child. Thank you for being supportive! January 14, 2021 at 11:57PM

/u/Chocolate_Glue on It sucks when a anime or videogame series your like starts throwing sexual fanservice in your face.

YES. Same thing happens to me when there's a scene like that in movies (characters undressing, touching *like that*, etc). Feels gross. Even flirting makes me uncomfortable. January 14, 2021 at 11:56PM

/u/Xalendaar on How can people be so ignorant?

Oh, hell... Finland’s the same, more or less. Asexuality is all but unheard of here, and you’ll get so much shit for it. I know I have. January 14, 2021 at 11:54PM

/u/RockinRexXx on Sometimes I try to ignore my asexuality and try to be “normal” but it always ends up biting me in the butt eventually.

Is the amount of sex the problem, or the need for it very low for you to the point where it is basically not a necessity? January 14, 2021 at 11:52PM

/u/Chocolate_Glue on Pikachu says Trans Rights. Pass it on.

/u/AceOfManyYears on A bit late in life for an epiphany

Or maybe you’re latching onto something that makes you feel less confused because it’s right for you. January 14, 2021 at 11:51PM

/u/SaraPieBaron on What the hell is "Ace Pride"?!

So, with that being said, why in the fuck are people displaying "Ace Pride" as if it is an accomplishment?! It's not an accomplishment, it's a celebration of all the facets of oneself. Aces, and minorities in general, are encouraged (or pressured) to hide those facets of themselves that make them different. "Ace pride" (similar to "gay pride") is standing up and saying "this part of me is valid too". As to the rest of what you said - it sounds like you haven't accepted the part of yourself that is ace. You seem to view it as broken. Personally, I am not broken. I am not a biological failure. Being ace is part of what makes me me, and I love being me. Being ace means that I can focus on my wants and needs, it means I can take care of myself, it means that if I decide to have children I know that I am choosing their other parent based on their qualities rather than some random switch being flipped inside me. I used to think I'...

Yeah I was getting so annoyed by this that I started pre-screening all my anime. If there’s something I think looks cool, I check https://www.animefeminist.com/ for reviews. They’re very good about highlighting any egregious misogyny as well as other potential red flags. They review a wide range of anime and they’ve never steered me wrong January 14, 2021 at 11:47PM

/u/GaraBlacktail on GSRM vs LGBT

I'm ambivalent to GSRM and LGBTQ+ (the later is more known, so I use it more) January 14, 2021 at 11:46PM

/u/mazotori on Here we go again...

If she already knows your ace that risk is present weather you talk to her or not. Trying to understand each other seems like it would only help her understand why you want her to keep her mouth shut when it comes to them. January 14, 2021 at 11:46PM

/u/Sage_89 on How can people be so ignorant?

Thanks. A lot. I am really against all that crap in my country with all my fibers January 14, 2021 at 11:45PM

/u/justfutaba on Suddenly no sex, bf doesn’t know what to do and neither do I

This really resonates. Thanks for the reply. January 14, 2021 at 11:44PM

/u/scottishdrunkard on Quiz results: Me vs My Friend

Hmmm... If Andro- means Male, and Android is Artificial Man, is Gynoid an Artifical/Robotic Humanoid Woman? ... It's like my discussion of whther the female version of Werewolf is Wifewolf, because of Archaic English terminology... But aye, thanks. January 14, 2021 at 11:43PM

/u/Azrael_042 on I educated someone!! :D

/u/camobob123 on Here we go again...

Yes that is very smart. I will talk to her about it later maybe. I am just scared she is going to tell my parents and the last thing I think I need is for them to get on me right now January 14, 2021 at 11:42PM
