Hey r/sex , I've mostly been a lurker on this thread since I joined but I've always been curious if any of you might have experience with an issue I have with my sex life that makes me feel very awkward, especially when I am with a new partner. Basically, I [M22] cannot orgasm without causing it myself. It requires me to sort of shake my body to an excessive amount, and so it isn't feasible for me to do so in any upright position. I (F27) have a partial longitudinal vaginal septum that has never been a huge problem before, moreso an inconvenience. I have been able to use tampons with minimal leakage, but sex hasn't always been the most comfortable thing. When the doctors first discovered it they said that it was hardly noticable and that it would stretch out during sex so they didn't push for removal. I have gone years without having sex because birth control made me think I was asexual, and now that I'm thinking about getting back into things I'm a bit concerned that it may have tightened up too much.
