So some background my girlfriend and I have been dating for about 6 months now. Things are getting pretty serious, we are both in this for marriage. She is a Christian so with that, no sex until marriage. Big deal I’ve come to terms with that a while ago I’m fine with it actually. We both go over to each other’s houses now so we don’t always have to go out on dates to spend time with each other and have to spend money to see each other. Obviously we get affectionate and sometimes it gets intense but we don’t end up having sex. Lately she has had a guilty conscience of it and now it’s to the point she doesn’t want to see each other unless we go out to do things to prevent us from getting into those situations. At first I said sure if that’s what you want but it’s almost like working backwards in our relationship when I thought about it. So one thing about her is she loves to go on trips and she goes with friends often. This means I no longer have this opportunity until after marriage..

There's a debate on cold approaching so lets ignore that. So far the things I have read/tried include: - Work - Hobbies - Bars - Concerts But I don't feel any of these are viable for myself. My work and hobbies are nearly 100% male and I'm not sure dipping into work is a good idea regardless. I don't drink or enjoy music or want to pretend I am part of a subculture I am not, the idea of investing substantial time into something I dislike to fit in with a group in order to potentially meet women seems incredibly absurd to me. On a personal note I don't feel anything positive when interacting with people unless I am trying to achieve a specific goal. Socializing doesn't make me feel happy and usually I fall someplace between not feeling anything at all or feeling exhausted mostly due to the effort required to keep the conversation going without any innate desire. Title is a little misleading. Due to an infection I ended up needing my teeth removed. It’s been a long healing process and my new teeth will be amazing and perfect but the entire process of dental surgery and healing and everything else was, not only extremely expensive, but is taking a long time. This isn’t a few month, I started in January and, likely, have several months to go. So I have been single for a really long time, have tried to get back into the game a few times. Most recently started on all of the “apps” in July. I have gone on, at least, one date a week since that time. With several matches more that don’t lead to dates. I vibe very well, things go good, first dates often seem good. But I haven’t secured a second date or any interest at all. I have mentioned the teeth situation at varying times.
