He’ll go a day or two without saying anything to me at all sometimes and it makes me feel like he’s losing interest because he used to reply me so quickly at the start. For context, we’ve been dating exclusively for 2.5 months. But whenever I bring it up, he says he isn’t losing interest, and he does indeed still seem more or less like his usual self whenever we meet up. He said the difference is because he put in extra effort at the start to chase me and now that things seem stable, he has reverted back to his usual self, and that he’s someone who just really needs his own time. I completely understand that because I get like that too and I always tell him when I need my space. And I’m fine with it if he’s busy but I just really wish he would give me a heads up if he intends to not text me for awhile because it makes me feel like I don’t matter. A couple of people have said they're pretty sure she likes me, and all my friends who know think we're a good match. We've been talking for like a month, like texting atleast like 2 hours a day. Like 1-2 weeks ago she suggested we should start talking in person, so now we talk like during lunch and during break. One time i forgot to meet her and she got kinda mad lmao. A little story, one time we were planning to go to the mall, just us, and she seemed excited. Her parents didn't end up letting her go, but instead of just saying "oh sorry i gotta work on my project", she wrote like 2 long apology texts. This past Wednesday, i think, we got onto the topic of crushes, and she was tryna guess mine, and im pretty sure i made it obvious enough for her to guess that it was her. Lowkey jealous of all the people who didn't grow up in abusive households... now that I live on my own I'm learning so much about what a healthy relationship should be from my boyfriend and therapy. Your parents don't hit each other? They don't tell each other to jump in front of a bus? Your parents didn't call you a selfish little bitch when you asked to go outside once a year? I'd like to stress that any emotional, mental, physical or any other stressor or form of abuse that anyone has experienced is not okay, and you have a right to feel hurt, neglected, angry, and to seek therapy. So. My ex and I ended our relationship about 5 months ago. I’ve not seen him physically nor have we sat down to talk. However, we ended up texting sexually and sending pics and stuff. We’re both no sex before marriage and he’s not a playboy so I highly doubt he’d do this “just for fun.” He believes that sex and stuff of that nature has to be in a secure relationship and for sex it has to marriage. He’s sent me text saying how beautiful he finds me and how amazed he is at my body and we’ve both shared texts saying “I miss you and wish you were in my arms.” Etc etc. However….he’s not said he was desperate to see me, or that he wants to meet up to talk or anything like that. And whilst he has said that he thinks I’m beautiful and no one does to him what I do, he’s not said anything about my personality or who I am as a person. We broke up fighting and I worry that he just likes my body but isn’t interested in anything else, or rather, he’s not interested in having a relationship now.
