Hey! Definitely gay and ace, but I'm also questioning whether or not I'm aromantic too. So life's fun! April 07, 2020 at 12:14AM

Reddit is also mostly male, so it’s hard to draw conclusions without doing a little more math. April 07, 2020 at 12:12AM

Theres literally several scenes, you're just being contrarian and incorrect. That's also the point of queer theory in film. You can look at things through different lenses. It may or may not be what the creator intended, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have value April 06, 2020 at 11:54PM

/u/hamandswiss on How did you figure out you were ace?

The first lightbulb moment was the realization that I never masturbated to/can't masturbate to sexual or gendered situations or characteristics. I thought I was bi/pan because of feeling equally about all genders. The second key was learning about the split attraction model. I have experienced some kind of very strong attraction to others and assumed that was what drove my sexuality. Defining and separating romantic and sexual attraction blew my mind, and made things much clearer. Third thing was the shared experiences from others who identify as asexual and the truly surprising and validating amount of commonalities we feel. April 06, 2020 at 11:53PM

The main character never says that. Why are you acting like you know what you're talking about? It's not helping you. It's a fighting anime and there's one scene where he tells girls off because they're being annoying. Maybe another part where he isn't interested because the girl is a child. I don't get how someone sees Asexuality in an 80s/90s Japanese series. April 06, 2020 at 11:49PM

I always see it as actually eating cake by the ocean even though I know the "actual meaning" lol, it's more fun that way. April 06, 2020 at 11:43PM

I'm starting to think it was all bs. And ive found alot of contradictory starements online about asexuality, looking for info its best to get it from an actual ace. April 06, 2020 at 11:41PM

/u/WholesomeML on I wanted to make a gender poll on this sub

That sounds like something made up by someone aphobic tbh. Kinda like the different fake facts floating around out there in stuff targeted at splitting LGBT communities A number like that is made to make someone feel like being ace is made up or is a choice. "It's only women, so it has to be something with you" yeah right April 06, 2020 at 11:40PM

I remember reading something about how 70 percent if asexuals are female genetically, but apparently that's not right. Atleast on reddit. April 06, 2020 at 11:35PM

saw this teenage boy today. Literally all of his posts are whining about how girls don't like him, how he's shy, how he tried to be a good guy but it didn't work. Now he NEEDS to become a fuckboi because that's what all girls want.

First Video Call Advice

Sorry if this is the wrong sub to post in and sorry for my English. I finished a video call with a girl I have feelings for today and we talked for a while. I thought it went well but we set no date to call again and she did not ask. When would be a good time to ask about a second call? Also how I know it went well? Hurt and kinda confused

So, a few days ago my girlfriend (F19)broke up with me(M19) a few days after my grandfather died unexpectedly, I've recently learned that she was talking to her emotionally abusive ex boyfriend. We had been sleeping together for a few months but only were in an official relationship for a month or two, that being said, we were monogamous (to my knowledge) the entire time. I don't really know what I'm asking for honestly Submitted April 06, 2020 at 11:44PM So, a few days ago my girlfriend (F19)broke up with me(M19) a few days after my grandfather died unexpectedly, I've recently learned that she was talking to her emotionally abusive ex boyfriend. Friend [24F] let me [23M] choke and slap her the the other day while hanging out.

While I was play flighting with my female friend after she came to drop off groceries she bought for me, I was choking he, like the sexual way when you squeeze the sides of the neck, she seemed to... enjoy it? I also added a slap in the face which she liked. I'm really confused she talking to me about not having had sex for 3 years and has made it clear she doesn't wanna do anything besides be my friend but after that I'm wondering is she just waiting for me to make a move and not telling or am I overthinking? Boyfriend still snapchats his ex back, even when he knows she is still very attracted to him.

(Highschool/Early College age relationship) This is sort of an odd situation. But my boyfriend was friends with this girl before we dated, she always had a big crush on him, and then they ended up dating for a short period before he broke it off. They sort of remained friends after, but she always clearly liked and flirted with him. When we started dating he could tell I thought it was odd, and I always got uncomfortable because she would blatantly go out of her way to try to talk to him and it was very clear she still liked him. He stopped responding to her Snapchat’s a bit after we started dating. Recently though, she snap chatted him again, and while I didn’t care because she was asking him something and he was just answering, he hasn’t just left her on open yet like he had before. In this case, my boyfriend already doesn’t snapchat a lot of people, only close friends and such. So I don’t understand why he is still snapping her back if he knows she likes him, and they aren’t close.

Do you say “ I Love You”

M(23) & M(22) been together about 3 months. I’m curious, to hear what people think about saying “I love you”. For those of you who have been in relationships or are in one, when did you say “I Love You”? How do you feel about saying it? Do you have any thoughts in general? TLDR: what are your thoughts on words of affection? Submitted April 06, 2020 at 11:53PM M(23) & M(22) been together about 3 months.I’m curious, to hear what people think about saying “I love you”. Are compliments important?

I’m talking to a guy online who I find really attractive. I’ve paid him a few compliments; but he hasn’t given me any really although we’ve been messaging a lot. We can’t meet currently for obvious reasons. He’s made a few ‘jokes’ about wanting to meet up (I’ve said no and wouldn’t risk my health). Is he Just not into me or are compliments not a good way to judge? Submitted April 06, 2020 at 11:55PM I’m talking to a guy online who I find really attractive.
