This is just me personally, but I go by the intent behind the kiss. Like if it's "I'm just kissing you so I can undress you later" then it's sexual, but if it's more like "I'm kissing you because I like being with you" then that's more romantic. That doctor should not be talking about asexuality, they don't seem to understand it. They say asexual people not only don't feel attraction (yep) but have no inclination or interest in sex (wtf? Idl where you're from, but where I'm from sex ed is either "abstinence or death" or "look at all these stds!!! Dont want that now do we?" So basically still abstinence or death Sex ed would need to consider actually teaching about sex before even considering diving into non-hetero sexualities. This will be a hard sell. Sex education is so hard in America because of the control by the conservative voices over it. We barely even tel kids what a penis or vagina is. I don’t think any schools even discuss homosexuality, let alone bisexuality. If they can’t even discuss homosexuality, which is far more common the asexuality, we are dead in the water. I completely agree with you, I just don't think you're going to get people who don't understand that concept to agree. People who are sexually active and use sex as their preferred method to love someone will not agree with us. I mean you have people who get divorced, break up, and get into fights because they don't have enough sex. So it's just not something that's going to translate to those people.
