41m here, I've been dating for about 2 years now after a long marriage. I've noticed a behavior that I don't quite understand and wanted some insight. I had a date last Thursday that I thought went well. I messaged her the next day to tell her I enjoyed meeting her and she ignored me. Sometimes, it's like a secret little power you have when you're ace, especially when you are sweet, friendly, conversational, funny, charming etc. People can be drawn to you, but you realise that they don't actually know who you truly are, and you don't feel drawn to them the same way, as quickly as they do. This is the way I try to explain that sexuality is “attraction to” Not “sex with.” so you think ( insert random person ) is gay because he has sex with other men right ? so your saying that if he was to be injured/sick and could no longer engage in sex he would stop being gay ? He is not gay because he has sex with men, he is gay because he is sexually attracted to men .
