Question for Women about Late Response
41m here, I've been dating for about 2 years now after a long marriage. I've noticed a behavior that I don't quite understand and wanted some insight. I had a date last Thursday that I thought went well. I messaged her the next day to tell her I enjoyed meeting her and she ignored me. Three days later I called her and left a message to invite her on a second date. She ignored me so I figured I had been ghosted. Three days later she finally texts me to tell me she's busy next weekend. This has definite happened before where I invite a girl on a second date and she texts me three days later out of the blue to tell me she can't meet. Why are we waiting three days to follow up with such a simple response? In another case I was rejected the next day and then four days later she changes her mind and texts me that she wants to see me again. Are these all cases of uncertainty?
