Failing at this dating thing..

So, little backstory, I had chosen to focus on my career and life before jumping into the dating scene at 24. I literally have no experience what so ever, but am the kind of guy who will fail, then fail again until I succeed, so determined haha.

I'm having a whale of a time even getting my foot through the door. I'm not afraid to talk to girls, but I feel maybe I just don't know how to talk to girls? So if the females of reddit wouldn't mind giving me a helping hand, on what girls like the most in conversation :) I'm at a loss here haha.
