Girlfriend gets UTI almost every time after sex. What can we do?

Hello reddit! My girlfriend and I are having a big sad time and are hoping someone might be able to offer advice. She’s very prone to UTI, and seems to get it about every other week.

We are generally very careful. I always wash my dick before we have sex, and she almost always showers ahead of time too. We never go PIA to PIV. She doesn’t really like oral or fingering so almost nothing on that side is happening either. She always pees immediately after sex. It seems like nothing helps and she always comes down with a UTI after sex, and I feel so bad for her! Is there anything else we can try to help prevent it?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
