in my dreams

every night before i go to sleep all i can do is toss and turn and think about you. i think about how badly i wish you were there with me. i wish you were there with me to hold me throughout the night. but i have to settle for the next best thing, which is waiting for you to come in my dreams. it doesnt matter what happens there but the fact that you are there at all makes it worth it. sleep is something that is so amazing that it seems like theres nothing that could make it better, but you manage to do just that by being in my thoughts at all. even when i fall asleep on my bus or during class, you always show up. i love the feeling so much, but all things go downhill when i wake up and i cant remember the beautiful dream i had with you.
