Need help texting a girl

For context were both 23 and from Massachusetts but met out in Colorado during the super bowl at a bar. We chatted for most of the night. she ended up giving me her number without my having to ask, and I had gotten her to agree to grab a drink on that Tuesday. Tuesday rolled around she bailed, said she needed to work late. I tried rescheduling to the weekend but she was going to be out of town. That Thursday I broke my arm at work and failed the following drug test. So I lost both my job and housing forcing me to move back in with my parents on the other side of the country. I was going to let the story end there but I'll be moving back to Colorado in June. I'd like to try and reconnect with her,but I don't how to go about this. I tried sending a kinda generic text this week and she didn't respond. Should I send a weird wall of text explaining the situation, just leave her alone or is there a better third option?

The difference between being right and being understood

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
