My really good friend that I’ve had a massive crush on and I started hooking up and now I feel like we’ve been friends for too long and it feels weird.

The sex is out of this world and we like all the same things. I’ve had a crush on him for a year and there have been so many times where I’d stare at him sitting next to me, wishing I could just jump on top of him....but now that we finally are having sex, a part of me feels reserved because it’s my best friend! When he sends me dirty texts I feel stoked and conflicted at the same time. I’ve wanted this for so long but he’s been so brotherly to me.

Any advice?

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
