Is it okay to approach someone at the gym or pool?
I go to the gym every weekend. It's specifically a gym on my old college campus so there're tons of people about my age (23M). I feel hesitance about approaching someone at the gym.
- Should I bother this person? Not while they're using machines or anything, of course, but even when they're not in an activity.
- Would it be considered creepy since it could be misconstrued that my interest is physical only?
- What if they're with someone else? This is a general issue beyond the gym.
- Will I be rejected for being overweight?
