HELP: Seeing a friend's significant other on a dating app

Can someone please advise on what to do when you see your friends significant other on a dating app? This morning I came across my friend's boyfriend on Hinge. I am extremely hesitant to say anything to my friend as she is studying for a big exam next week. She is also very insecure in this relationship. They have been dating for over a year and a half and my first thought is that maybe he just deleted the app off of his phone and not his profile? However, he updated photos when they had already been dating ( but not exclusive) for 3 months. This fact alone would upset my friend and I do not want to cause issues where they aren't any.

If you have been in this situation before, I would like to hear your thoughts.

EDIT: after her exams next Monday, they are going on a 2 week European trip that was her xmas gift. Really really bad timing.
