‘I love you’ on the first date

I’ve just started dating this tinder guy and unfortunately due to my travel for work, we didn’t end up meeting right away - more like after texting for two weeks. We had our first date and he told me that he loved me, that I’m perfect etc. it definitely seemed like a lot and really made me uncomfortable. Our next date was a couple of days later, much the same went on.

Because of other responsibilities we’ve not seen each other since (almost two weeks now) and the texting has died off and he’s still on tinder talking to other women. He actually swiped and spoke to a friend - very awkward. We’d never spoken about deleting the app, so I don’t necessarily mind, it’s just perplexing behaviour considering the crap he said to me on the first date. He doesn’t strike me as being a ‘love bomber’ or a narcissist but is that what he is? Any advice or experience like this would be much appreciated - I’m a bit lost because he seems like a genuine guy...
