Let’s talk location. Does a bigger city really mean a bigger dating pool?

I [31F] have spent the last decade moving between 2nd tier US cities hoping to find a guy who was doing to same. I’ve been in my current city for 3 years, and I’m settled and comfortable, but disappointed with my dating options so far. I’m beginning to think about moving to a bigger city like Chicago to get more options. However, I’m worried that in a city like that everyone will also have more options and will be more interested in playing the field and having fun in the city than actually finding a relationship. Not that I can blame them. But I don’t want to uproot from a comfortable situation if I’m not going to find what I’m looking for in a new place. What has your experience been?
