I'm thinking about asking this girl out but I might be more afraid of a yes than a no.

So I've had a crush on this girl for a little bit now but we've never really talked a whole lot and I think that the best way to get to know her more would be to ask her out to dinner or something similar but I'm much more nervous that she'll say yes and then we'll go out and she'll find me boring or I won't be able to fill the time and then my chance would be ruined rather than her just saying no and moving on from there. Is this normal? I've never been on a date before so i don't really know what to expect but i'm just more scared of ruining i chance i had rather than never having a chance from the start.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
