Dating in Los Angeles hopeless?

I’m a 33F and live in LA (not from LA though). I know dating is hard everywhere, but it just feels hopeless here! Sure there are a lot of people, but soooo many people on the apps are in entertainment industry. That’s not my world and I tend to lead a much more boring lifestyle than people in the industry. I work a lot and have a corporate job. I am not a social influencer/instagram model/aspiring actress taking fabulous photos everyday. But it seems so hard to find someone who isn’t in entertainment and just hard period to find someone who is relationship oriented. Even in a city as large as LA, each day on dating apps I’ve seen men who I’ve either already gone out with or who I’ve seen on the apps for a couple of years. I think I’ve run out of men.

Any LA people have tips for dating? A part of me wonders if my experience would have been different if I lived in another city like SF.

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
