Straight guy only gets hit on by gay guys?

So, I'm a guy, I'm 23, And I've always been taught to be healthy, and make sure I clean up (look good) before going out in public. I've had many girlfriends but am currently single. But I'm running into a strange problem....Im only being hit on by gay guys. Like a few have asked for sex, many approach me and ask for my number then stalk me, many flirt with me like crazy, a few have randomly kissed me on the cheek. And I am Compleltley straight. And for the first time ever, it seems like I get rejected with every girl I try and talk to, no girls flirt with me, and if I try and flirt with a girl, it's like they tune it out and get awkward. And since my last breakup, I have gotton very muscular and shredded, do my hair better, I'm a way better person, and make myself more presentable than I feel ever before.

Soooo....my question is, why is it that all the sudden does it seem only gay guys have interest in me? Everyone always comments about my looks saying I'm cute, hot, sexy, beautiful ect....so I'm just confused why I'm getting rejected so much by girls but gay guys are all for me? Any thoughts?

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
