Should I be concerned about this guy??

So, I've been dating this guy for a few weeks now. We've been on 4 dates so far. Every date we've been on has been great. Haven't seen any red flags so far. He has also met my mom after the second date. My mom approves.

This guy has been confessing how he feels about me saying things like "I love you," "You mean the world to me," "I miss you," "you complete the other half of my life," etc.

He hasn't verbally said the L word to me in person, only through text. However, since its still really early on in the dating stage, it's bit overwhelming to hear a guy openly express his feelings towards me so quickly. I do like him and really enjoy our time together. There's definitely relationship potential. When we're together, he makes me laugh a lot and I feel like I can tell him anything.

I also just move into a new city almost a month ago and he has been very supportive with helping me find jobs, etc.

My birthday is coming up this Saturday and I got a gift from him today in the mail. It was an rubbing oil to help with my headaches. I told him I haven't been feeling the past week and been getting headaches. That was thoughtful of him.

I've went on dates with guys in the past who sweet talks to me, they turn out to be assholes and played with my feelings.

What do you guys think? Should I be concerned?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
