How many dates do you give someone with seeming potential?

I'm (37M) 3 dates in with 30F over the course of a month. First 2 dates were very good, but 3rd one started feeling a little bit labored. I'm looking for something serious - there's a bunch of things I like about her, but it still feels like we're trying to find our interpersonal flow. She seems keen to continue so I'm thinking it might be worth more of a look to try and continue building our report, but also date 4 it's starting to feel a little like 'work'. I'm a bit introverted and dating can be a little exhausting for me so I'm also consciously trying to push past that as well.

Wondering in general how many dates people will go on with someone that has solid potential before deciding what they want to do...?

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
