Advice needed: new to dating and not sure what to expect.

I’m new to dating and created a Tinder account...person I matched with seemed nice at first and now he just seems annoying, but I’m not sure if it’s because I’m just to accustomed to OLD. He messages every morning to say “good morning, happy Monday, happy Friday, happy hump day etc.” Always asks everyday how my day was etc. We’ve been chatting for weeks and plan to meet next week. Is it me and I should expect this, or is this too much in the beginning? I imagine that I wouldn’t feel annoyed by it if I actually knew him and there was a spark. Maybe it seems strange because I don’t know him. Advice needed before I unmatch because I’m annoyed with all of the messages from a stranger.

Edit: thanks for the responses. I think our communication styles are different and that’s ok. I’m going to unmatch with this one as I cannot be the “good morning, good afternoon” person.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
