He unmatched me on Bumble after a weekend together??
Hey... just wondering if anyone can give any insight into this, because I'm confused here :/
Met this pilot on a Friday evening... we end up chatting the whole night, even after the bars closed. He was transparent about the fact that he lives on the other end of the country and had to leave Monday, is open to long distance, and would be back in a month. I was also transparent about the fact that I'd just gotten out of the relationship and wasn't expecting anything grandiose or serious. Anyway, we had a great night. Thought that would be it.
But then he texts me Saturday morning inviting me to go see museums with him! So I join him that afternoon - same thing. Romantic, strolling around the city. We ended up sitting on a bench in a museum and just talking about our families for an hour- we both shared some pretty intimate stuff. I don't know about him but I don't ever tell people about that kind of thing on a first or second date. It was unique and sweet. Again - thought that would be the end for the weekend.
Wrong! He texts me Saturday night, saying he'd like to see me again Sunday - so we make plans to watch Game of Thrones together after a work event he had Sunday night. He comes over, we watch ON MY BED, he makes no moves (which was kind of refreshing because that would be too easy), and we again just talk for a couple hours before it's time to say goodbye.
I dropped him off at his hotel in the wee hours of Monday morning before he has to fly, and before I turn around to hop in my car he kisses me... it was really shy and sweet at first, and then he kissed me more passionately before he kind of sheepishly says goodnight. I remember him saying that it was "kind of sad" and I joked back "no it's not, we can still look at the same moon!" to lighten up the mood
..... fast forward to a week later, he didn't answer my last text and then I notice he unmatched me out of the blue. It's just so very strange to me. Why go through the effort, give vibes of being interested, open up to me and spend time with me, only to unmatch with no explanation? I'm not even looking for prince charming right now, I'm fresh to the dating scene, but maybe this is normal and I just don't know it :/
Also if there's other factors I can explain let me know I just figured this was getting really long
