Am I being too grouchy? Guy from OLD has changed our plans too much and now I don’t want to meet him anymore

My first time using an OLD app. I’m wondering if maybe I’m just a stickler and plans changing is just something that goes with the territory of online dating.

We matched on Friday. Live in the same hood. He said he was going to a bar with friends and invited me to come. I was with friends and we regularly go to that bar so I said I’d try. We ended up all going to that bar but at different times. No biggie. He asks if I want to get a drink the following evening, I say sure.

We text all night and the next day. Day of our drink date, I ask: when do you wanna meet up? He gives me a time. An hour before we’re supposed to meet up, he says he’s actually going to stay in and cook dinner for his roommate who had a shitty day, but asked if I was free Tuesday night. I said yeah, we pick a time and place.

Now it’s Tuesday. I just got a text from him a few hours before our planned meetup time. He forgot he had a work event and won’t be able to meet up until later, or maybe another day.

My gut is telling me to say F this. You’re a 33yo man, you don’t have a calendar? I get that shit happens but he’s kind of kept me hanging twice in two days, tying up my own schedule. I feel annoyed. I also feel like I will seem like a push over if I just keep rescheduling on his terms.

I can’t really tell if my annoyance is justified or if I’m just being a grouch. What say you, DOT??
