What is your opinion on what happened with me (23f) and my friend (23f)? What should I do?

So I was planning to attend my friend's birthday celebration tomorrow night, but I found out today that my family actually has plans with relatives tomorrow and it's not something I can skip out on, so I had to cancel on my friend.

I explained the situation and apologized, to which she replied she doesn't know what to say and that she's disappointed. I replied that I'd treat her out another time and explained how I didn't know until my mom brought it up today. It's been a few hours and she hasn't replied, but is posting on social media. A story she posted was from a few minutes ago with the caption that she wasn't expecting to drink today (with the suspicious emoji 🤔) I feel like this is shade being thrown at me? What do you think about the caption and the whole situation? What should I do now? Her actual birthday's in a few days and Idk if I should even text her happy birthday if she's going to ignore me and if she actually was being petty with that caption.

TLDR: Had to cancel on friend's birthday because of family obligations. She said she's disappointed and uploaded a story of alcohol with the caption that she wasn't expecting to drink today (with a suspicious emoji 🤔). Can't tell if she's throwing shade at me. What do you think of all this? Should I even wish her happy birthday in a few days if she still ignores me?

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
