My girlfriend is 21 [F] keeps walking home from events and it worries me

My girlfriend is 21 [F] and I am a 22 [M], and we have been going out for almost four years. Now I love my girlfriend more than anything but she is very stubborn especially about how she gets home at night. Now it’s the year of 21sts for her some I’m invited too and some I’m not. The ones I don’t/can’t attend she’ll often walk home from the venue by herself or she’ll walk for ages then catch a train. Now it annoys me that she won’t call a cab or an uber because she is the cheapest person ever and doesn’t wanna pay. It doesn’t help as well that she likes walking at night listening to music because she does enjoy the exercise. A few weeks ago she went to a house party and walked 2.5 hours home at 1am. I was so annoyed that she did that but she i confronted her she said "well I'm gonna keep doing it i won't tell you then". This issue is, we have fought about this before and she thinks I’m being controlling which is not what I’m trying to be like but I’m worried she’ll just lie about her getting a cab or uber when in fact she’ll walk. She has a 21st tonight that I can't go to she said she'll get an uber but i'm worried she's just saying that so i won't worry. Any advice on how to bring this up with her?

And p.s I won’t be breaking up with her about it as well

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
